Are you bogged down with digital SLR reviews that focus too much on the technical aspects of the camera?
Do you find that there is too much jargon when dealing with digital SLR cameras?
When I first started researching for a digital SLR camera, I too was in the same situation.
There are a LOT of sites out there that have product reviews but they were usually not friendly enough for me. I’ve been to many of the sites and have read many reviews.
Other sites provide great information but it can be a bit daunting for someone new to digital SLR cameras.
The Nikon digital camera reviews are focused on Nikon digital SLR cameras and are designed to give you simple, no-nonsense information to you.
I may throw in a little techno-speak here and there but I promise to make it fun 
Three Principles
Before I start with the reviews, I want to say that I like Nikon cameras and Nikon lenses.
“Why?” you ask?
There are two reasons why I went the Nikon route instead of the other brands.
- At the time I intended to buy a digital SLR, I was aware of only Nikon making an 18-200 lens.
- I didn’t like the shutter sounds from the other dSLR cameras I tried.
Since I have had a bit more exposure to different digital SLRs, I am seriously considering trying out different brands which fit my needs a bit more.
Now on to the 3 Principles…
- I am technically oriented but I love to tell stories. I want to share with you my experiences of using a particular camera I review here.
- Because I am sharing stories and experiences, you will read about my thoughts. Some information may be biased but I will make sure to be as objective as possible.
- I will include photos taken with the camera being reviewed. Unless otherwise noted, photos will be unprocessed.
