About

My passion
I am an artist and a photographer and this is a my passion…

Photography is a preferred medium to express my art and my creativity because it allows me to capture those fleeting moments in life. Life is a story and what better way to hold on to a story than by capturing it on camera?

The first time I held a SLR camera was when I was in grade four at Queen Victoria Public School. It was a small after school activity class and I loved it!

What is Creativity?

Simply put, it is the act of bringing something into being. With my photography, I create every time I press the shutter release.

Afterward, I re-create when I send my photos into post-process.

And you know what the best part is…?

There were about 10 of us in the class and we had a blast taking photos and developing it in the school’s darkroom.

Soon after the school’s budget was cut and we didn’t have access to many of these after school activities.

I went digital in 2003 and it was a transformational experience. Now I was able to combine my university-learned skills in computer manipulation and apply those to photography! Amazing, huh?

Now I am better able to create amazing photographs and redefine my preconceived notions of creativity.

My True Passion

My passion is writing about photography! I love to write and I love to share my experiences with you…
Are your hobbies making you money?
Writing, for me, is another act of creation which allows me to talk about photography!

I have found that the internet is the best way to share this information with a large audience of readers who are inquisitive, creative and are hungry to know about photography.

I consider myself lucky to have come across Site Build It or SBI.

SBI is a hosting platform and SEO system for your website. It allows you to write about your passions and share it with others.

Since I started this site in 2008, I have been able to share my enthusiasm and love for photography with all my readers!

It’s an incredible feeling to know that I am able to have my voice heard and shared with many others who share the same enjoyment and enthusiasm for photography!

I have found that the more I share, the more I receive!

Love your camera. Love yourself. Love your photos.

Sincerely,

Thushyanthan
