I am a Calgary wedding photographer and I love what I do! My main goal is to over-deliver and ensure that your special day is captured to your satisfaction.

I have lived in Calgary for 20 years now and I love this place. The mountains, the fresh air and all the people in this wonderful city.

I believe that the most important thing with wedding photography is preparation.

Preparation

• Visit the happy couple one month prior to the wedding date to go through their photographic requirements and meet the immediate members of the family. This way, all parties, including both the bridal and groom parties, can discuss any special needs they may have.

• Check and re-check all information regarding the wedding venue, reception venue including addresses, expected guests and times of services.
• Do a "dry run" from the place the bride will leave to the wedding venue and on to the reception venue. This is to ensure that I can properly assess traffic, lighting and other conditions that may present themselves.
• Check for suitable and potentially engaging locations for group shots and creative shots.

My photographic style has more to do with emphasis of the little things.

I love mixing both traditional and more modern contemporary styles of photography to create something that will reflect the special nature of your wedding day.

In other words, I will anticipate events to capture the day as I see it with minimal disruption to you and your day.

On The Wedding Day...

I love to capture details and I will do my best to ensure over-delivery of my services as a Calgary wedding photographer.

Typical photographs (if required) will include the following:

• Bride with family/bridal party getting ready.
• Bride leaving for the wedding venue.
• Groom and best man/groom party waiting at wedding venue.
• Bride's arrival.
• Wedding service.
• Any special location shots.
• Any reception shots.

These are only a few of the shots that are common to most weddings. If you have any specific needs, please let me know and I will work with that.

During the course of the wedding, I will move through the guests and wedding areas to capture and document any of the festivities and happiness.

This is the kind of style that is editorial in nature and, to me, feels like being a reporter!
